Garrett's Story -

With over twenty years in the construction industry, Garrett knows what long days and hard work look like. Based in Granbury, Texas, just a few hours east of our facility, Garrett works 6-7 days a week and has had a change of perspective over the last ten years.

As far back as Garrett can remember, Garrett knew that something was going on, something that was controlling his life, but he didn’t know or realize that it was OCD until ten years ago. It's been something he's had to work through, stay positive throughout, and focus on letting go of the control it had on him. On top of working through his OCD, Garrett has dealt with the passing of his sister and dad, two of the most important people in his life. Garrett said that his perspective on life has changed and everything he does now is with his dad and sister in mind.

At the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, OH, in 2022, Garrett just so happened to come across our Chike booth. “I picked up a bag of Chike, looked at the ingredients, and sampled a couple of different flavors. I absolutely fell in love and also fell in love with the people that were working the booth. With what I do every single day, with being a handyman, going 6-7 days a week, and physical labor, Chike is literally the only thing that has kept me going…it gives me the energy I need and it also makes my day that much brighter. It’s amazing.”, Garrett said.
